CEFR level info
- When you finish your French level test, you will get a score on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- We use a scale of 12 levels: not only the 6 main levels but also the intermediate levels between those main levels. This will give you more accurate information on your French skills.
- Click on one of the 6 main levels below to get a full description of which skills correspond to that particular level. (You will see this list again when you get your test results.)
- Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
- Can introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he lives, people they know and things they have.
- Can interact in a simple way if one talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
- Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of relevance (e.g. basic personal and family information, local geography, job).
